For those of you who enjoyed our piece on Tony Hawks and his Irish adventure (link) here’s some more stuff about him
Our hero Tony finds himself watching and England Moldava football match with the comedian, Arthur Smith – a discussion takes place on the sporting talents – and Tony (an ex county tennis player) suggests that footballers do not necessarily,make good tennis players – and so a proposition bet is born. Tony has to beat the Moldovan football team at tennis – – the loser of the bet has to walk down Balham high street naked singing the national anthem
Like with the fridge challenge, there was a book and a film, and again like with the fridge challenge, it was an educational and life changing experience. profits will go to the Tony Hawks Centre for children with cerebral palsy in Moldova.
